The Bible employs various metaphors to depict the Christian community, such as a family (Ephesians 2:19), a body (1 Corinthians 12:12-31), and a temple composed of “living stones” (1 Peter 2:4-5, Ephesians 2:21). These images highlight the interconnectedness and interdependence of Christians. When someone becomes part of a specific congregation, they are publicly acknowledging a union that has already taken place in their heart.
At the Fountain Of Liberty Embassy Church, membership is not a requirement for active involvement and growth. In fact, many in the Fountain Of Liberty family are not formal members. However, for those who choose to become members, there are numerous joys and benefits associated with this commitment.
Our covenant with God and our commitment to one another contribute to shaping our church’s culture and community. Membership serves as an external, formalized symbol of the internal, mutual commitment we’ve made to one another and to the Lord. This commitment not only defines our roles but also reflects our intentions, guiding our decisions and influencing our perspective. While it may come with a cost, the rewards are significant.
As members, we come together for God’s glory and our collective well-being, sharing both the responsibilities and the blessings of what God will achieve through us. Additionally, this commitment aligns with our church’s bylaws and ensures responsible stewardship of the resources that God has entrusted to our congregation throughout the years.
When you become a member, you are part of the larger Fountain Of Liberty Embassy Church family, irrespective of the branch you attend. The membership process and commitments are consistent across all branches.

Discipleship Class is a 3 MOUNTHS course (8 classes required for membership) designed to explore our faith, the unique opportunities and challenges of being in a DISCIPLE, and how to daily live a life empowered by the Spirit.
By letter of transfer from another Bible believing church of like faith and practice, or other
written statement of good standing from the prior church if the applicant has been baptized
by immersion subsequent to a profession of faith
After finishing all the required classes, take the time to thoroughly read and reflect on the membership commitment. If you believe that it aligns with your convictions and calling, you can formally express your commitment by filling out the membership application, which can be done either online or on paper. Additionally, make sure to send a photograph of yourself to the email address [email protected]. If your application is reviewed and accepted, you will receive a warm welcome in the form of a welcome letter and a signed membership certificate, officially marking your inclusion as a new member of the Fountain Of Liberty community.
